Getting to Know the National Fitness Holidays

Major gains are not made in just one workout; a focus on making change needs to happen week after week. With so much to concentrate on each month, it’s no wonder that many of you are afraid that you might miss something really important when it comes to your fitness!
Lucky for us, the year is already broken into four-week groupings…months! And thanks to the good people at the National Fitness Holiday Council, each month has a special aspect of fitness on which to focus.
The purpose of the cleverly named holidays is so that participants may concentrate on a different aspect of fitness – ranging from mobility, to strength, to recovery – every month to make a lifestyle of changes.
During each fitness holiday month, participants are given tools and resources so that they can easily incorporate one activity into each day which will help celebrate that month. The great news is that it’s FREE and open to EVERYONE! All you need to do is visit the National Fitness Holidays website and follow along!
