Paige Claassen has added another American masterpiece to her tick list with Sarchasm (5.14a) in Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. The single pitch sport route is located above Chasm Lake, near the base of Long Peak’s famous Diamond and is notoriously harder than the grade implies due to the altitude of 12,000 feet, the 4+ mile uphill approach, and the technical nature of the climbing. It’s seen few repeats, though, along with Paige, Arjan de Kock and Daniel Woods just climbed it too.
