Two 5.14d’s in a Day for Alex Megos at the Red

Alex Megos has climbed Southern Smoke Direct and claimed the first ascent of the "My Heaven, Your Hell" project in the same day.

After burning through nearly every hard project at the New River Gorge, Alex Megos and his partner Felix Neumärker headed to the Red River Gorge, Kentucky. On his first day there Megos was able to put down Southern Smoke Direct (5.14d), a project he left behind from his last trip in 2012.
